Primary Purpose: He / She will act as a key person within the human resources function of an organization. Principally the candidate would be responsible for the day-to-day management of HR operations, which means managing the administration of the policies, procedures and programs of the organization. The candidate will lead Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Key Job outcomes:

Talent Acquisition:
Co-ordinate with department heads on respective manpower needs
Maintain accurate and timely job postings in private agencies, company bulletin boards, online website / social media
Schedule potential candidates for interview and conduct physiological exams or skill tests
Prepare and submit reports to India office on manpower inventory, recruitment lead time, retention and cost / hire

Talent Engagement & Retention:
Responsible for setting an employee friendly environment which builds a good platform for reaching the goals and where the employees feel their personal contribution to the results of the organization and they feel they are being recognized for being successful
Work with managers to develop employee engagement and motivational activities / programs
Champion E-SAT in the managed business / account
Assists in implementing company panned activities to develop camaraderie, improve health conditions, performance output etc.
Recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer – employee relationship
Participate in conduct of investigations / admin hearing when employee complaints, concerns issues are brought forth
Spearhead creation and deployment of all HR related internal communication
Responsible for overseeing corporate events such as company outings, Christmas parties, general assemblies, theme days and other recreational activities to boost employee morale
Assist managers and employees in adapting to working in fluid environment by successfully implementing the change management
Encourage and drive corporate culture and environment by acting as a culture advocate

Reward & Recognition:
Co-develop with managers local reward & recognition strategies and interventions in order to meet business needs in conjunction with reward specialists

Performance Management:
Administer performance appraisals
Assist with any issues or questions embed with performance management culture within the business area as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear objectives, feedback and improvement of customer service thru behaviors aligned with our values
Ensure that the line leaders are effectively and proactively managing staff performance
Facilitate appropriate response to serious performance issues
Manage performance thru disciplinary actions

Policy Cascade & Compliance:
Familiarizes new hires to the organization thru orientation of employees’ manual, company tour etc.
Re-orientation of existing employees may be conducted as needed
Responsible for the overall compliance of HR solutions and HR procedures applied at the business with the law and the internal procedures set in the organization
Identify gaps in existing HR polices and contribute to the development of new HR policies and procedures
Consult and deliver new amended policies and procedures into the business area
Co-ordinate with other departments within the company in conducting surveys and general HR audits to ensure calibration on the interpretation of HR policies and procedural compliance

Employee Payroll & Database Management:
Partner with payroll team to maintain payroll database monitoring compensation program and reviewing and assessing payroll concerns / deductions
Prepares monthly analysis report on leave availed, illness and accidents
Facilities the releasing and processing of separated employees’ clearances, claims and employment certificates
Maintain the personal file records of individual employees
Ensure proper arrangement and filing of documents and maintain highest degree of confidentiality
Prepare reports on employee movement such as lateral movements, regularization and attrition
Co-ordinate with different departments in ensuring that team member data is kept updated at all times thru regular reports, notifications and as needed calibration ensuring the information is consistent with the HR database and other HR tools
Attends to employment verification and data requests from both internal and external parties (other employees, banks etc.)
Preparations of all HR related letters / contract i.e. job offers, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments etc.

HR Continuous Improvement:
Work with other HR BPs / HR Teams across the globe to ensure that consistent HR support / services is provided
Proactively gain stakeholder feedback to aid HR functions improve service levels and alert HR areas where an issue may impact other areas

4-year college degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Administration or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.

Close to five or more years progressively responsible experience as a Human Resource Supervisor, Generalist, or Specialist with extensive experience in associate relations, learning and development, problem and conflict resolution and recruiting non-exempt personnel in a high-volume environment (i.e. BPO/ Call center).

Expected Competencies:
Has an experience managing, coaching, and developing others
Has an experience demonstrating extensive knowledge, interpretation, and application of employment laws
Has extensive knowledge of general labor policies and practices including discrimination, harassment, and union avoidance
Prior experience delivering HR training and development programs as well as implementing employee engagement initiatives
Has demonstrated success in conducting behavioral interviews and management talent assessments
Has an experience in leading positive change
Call center industry experience, preferred
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, including verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, facilitation skills and negotiation skills
Proven track record of successfully developing and making compelling written/oral proposals
Strong problem solving/consulting skills
Excellent time management skills
Excellent planning and organizing skills, especially prioritizing multiple projects/tasks
Strong listening skills
Good PC skills with demonstrated ability to use a variety of programs including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook with the ability to assimilate, present, and analyze data as needed
